Splendour In The Grass 2012

A few weeks ago me and my best friend Cass went up to Byron Bay in New South Wales for Splendour in the Grass, an annual music festival. The weather was wonderful and we had a fantastic time. We ate, we drank, we danced and got muddy. We ended up having to pay $50 for gumboots because our shoes just weren't up to the challenge of the mud. I can't wait for my next festival (glastonbury maybe?)

 

 

 

 

Fog and Frost

What a foggy Sunday it was this weekend, we got up early, scraped the ice off the roof of the car and headed up to our friends farm for the day. I don't know why but fog is so magical to me. We got there and you couldn't see one metre past the shoreline of the lake it was that foggy. Here are some photos from the weekend.

 

 

 

 

I had a nice day out with the girlies during the week. I shot my second roll of expired Fuji Superia 200.
Expired film is great. I wish it was sunny like this every day in winter. I brought a Canon 60D yesterday in preparation for my approaching trip to Europe, so I guess expect some more digital photographs on here.

 

Expired Film

I brought some expired film off eBay last year, I kept putting off using it...Until now! The film expired in 2005 and nothing to crazy happened. I am mostly pleased with this roll and I am excited to shoot expired film again!

I especially like this bike photograph, the shadow looks super weird, I love it!
